Only real play counts. Everyone on Rush shows up here as an animal.

What is this?

Firefly Night is a gentle timing game. Fireflies drift over a meadow at dusk and blink on and off; tap one while it's glowing to catch it, and it flies into your jar. Catch several in quick succession for a combo, look out for rare golden fireflies worth five, and keep up as the blinks get shorter while the night deepens. After sixty seconds the sun comes up and you let them all go.

Questions

How do I catch a firefly?

Tap or click it while it's lit. Dark fireflies can't be caught, so watch the rhythm and tap as they glow.

How does the combo work?

Catch fireflies less than about a second and a half apart to build a combo. Every three in a row raises the multiplier, and the chime climbs higher. Missing or waiting resets it.

What are the golden fireflies?

Rare, quicker fireflies worth five points each — or more with a combo running.
