Bonsai
Bonsai
Bored of this already? Good.
Only real play counts. Everyone on Rush shows up here as an animal.
Bonsai is a virtual tree that grows from its own random seed, so no two are alike. Water it and new branches appear; tap a branch to prune it and the tree grows somewhere else instead, so you shape it over time. It blossoms in spring, goes green in summer, turns orange in autumn and stands bare in winter, following the real calendar. Your tree is saved in your browser — come back tomorrow and it will have grown.
Water it — up to eight times a day. It also grows a little on its own each new day you visit, and visiting on consecutive days builds a streak.
Tap or click a branch. That branch and everything growing from it is cut off, and future growth goes to the rest of the tree, so you can shape it however you like.
Yes, in this browser. Clearing your browser data, or pressing “New seed”, starts a new tree.
It follows the real season where you are: blossom in spring, green in summer, autumn colours that drift down, and snow on bare branches in winter.
