rush.

About

Built to waste your time.

Everything on the internet wants something from you. Your attention, your email, your data, your next five minutes, your next five hours. Rush wants nothing. It’s a handful of small toys that do one silly thing each, and do it well.

Pop some bubble wrap. Rake a zen garden. Press the button you were told not to. Try to do nothing for two minutes and discover it’s the hardest thing you’ll do all day. Then fall down a rabbit hole and come out knowing why onions make you cry.

The rules we made for ourselves

Why “anti-productive”?

Because a few minutes of doing something completely pointless is good for you. Not in a self-improvement way. In a “you’re a person, not a machine” way. Rush is the break between the things that matter. Take it, then go back. Or don’t. We’re not your manager.
